Local Government

In southern Nevada, the Clark County Department of Business License is presenting an amendment to the current Massage Business/Establishment code to the Clark County Board of Commissioners: Ordinance 1713-07 proposes to change Clark County Code number 7.08.045.

This Ordinance proposes further restrictions that will apply to new massage businesses (after enactment of the amendment to the Code) regarding how close massage-related businesses are located to each other and shorter hours of operation.

Click here to read the AMTA-Nevada Chapter's statement regarding this Ordinance and learn more about how you can be involved.
